Mark Feggins

Mark Feggins has worked in the digital motion graphics and editing field since it’s inception while attending the University of Michigan. Transitioning from production work in early 90’s to post production working as an editor on the EMC2 digital edit system. It was during this time that he assisted on MTV Unplugged, DEF Comedy Jam and various A&E projects with Beehive Editorial. As motion graphics moved to the computer desktop, he embraced the new tools and aided Highland Productions in securing their first TV series, Z Games, for Disney. This project included designing the look of the show, creating all motion graphic elements such as show opens, bumpers, 3rds and the show’s logo. Since then, he has had a strong career working for a variety of clients and projects in the field. Clients include Ogilvy, Y&R, Berwyn, MTV, Krug, Altria, Pfizer, Merck, UNICEF, Johnson & Johnson, Soapcenter and Sony BMG. Expanding his skill set to include 3d, motion tracking and DVD authoring, allowed his work to expand and supply clients with more visual options. Recent projects include design and animation for Johnson & Johnson’s projection-mapped display for the 2008 Summer Olympic Games presented in their pavilion in Beijing, China. The public trading launch of Opnext Inc provided another opportunity to design for Times Square digital signage. This was presented on the seven story tall NASDAQ sign. Other digital signage projects were for Kodak and Soapcenter on the ABC display. Time Warner’s internal video used his greenscreen and motion graphics work to inspire their sales force. MTV’s salute to Britney Spears was an opportunity to create another graphics package for TV. His 3d graphics were created for the Curves cereal commercial. Along this visual journey he has also embraced music in the form of digital DJing at clubs around NYC, Berlin and Jakarta. He was also a cofounder of Ozone Entertainment. A diverse music management, record label and recording studio for major label artists Saul Williams, China Forbes, Company Flow, Mike Ladd, Bree Sharp and others. Here his graphic skills were also utilized creating CD and Album artwork along with all promotional materials. Mark has extensive knowledge of 2D & 3D graphics, video, compression, publishing, web, audio software and DVD authoring. Matthew Lane Smith
