Mathew Ein
Since moving to New York, Mathew Ein has been working with some of the
top names in PostProduction in New York City. He started out as the
2nd Assistant Editor on the feature film "Sons of Sakhnin," an
official selection of the Tribeca Film Festival in 2007. He has worked
on a variety of projects ranging from political ads during the 2006
Democratic House and Senate Races and Hillary Clinton for President
2008. Since then, he has assisted two-time Emmy winner Patrick
Gambutti, Jr. and Kurt Engfher, on the feature documentary "At
the Edge of the World," a feature length documentary selected
for the 2008 Toronto International Film Festival.
Mathew continues working on an assortment of projects that allow him
to show his versatility as an editor, including: "Playboy: Interns,"
Playboy's first web-based reality series, length documentary on
Nigerian militias, a documentary on American's most influential winemakers, and a pilot for “The Big Picture" for CableReady Productions, which is going to series. He was co-Editor on "The World Away", a short documentary featured in the 2009 Cannes Film Festival.
Mathew recently edited multiple episodes and lead the edit team on a
cooking show, "The Minimalist," starring New York Times Food Critic, Mark Bittman. He is currently working as Post-Production Coordinator on the Chris Rock produced "Eat, Drink, Laugh", a feature documentary about the legendary New York City nightclub The Comic Strip.
