Brian Kushner

Brian Kushner is a storyteller, a creative director and partner in the editing process. For more than 15 years Brian has been instrumental in defining the look of the modern music video. His fast paced, syncopated to the beat edit style melded with his unique cutting technique and storytelling has made him one of the most singled out editors in New York. Brian Lives the editing process, that’s all. While originally known for cutting many of the top hip-hop videos of the 1990s, he's been sought after to cut television commercials, short and long form narratives, concert videos, industrials and just about anything else you can think of. He has just recently finished work for The Dave Matthews band on FUSE T.V. as well as a internet campaign for Joe Fresh and a image spot for Warren Tricomi. Brian can trace his fascination with editing back to his childhood, where playing drums and video games served as his editorial boot camp, preparing him for today's complex and graphic intensive visual effects. Brian has cut a number of Internet campaigns for the Foo Fighters and Kelly Clarkson. He’s sliced documentaries with Christina Aquilera and Daughtry. He’s also just completed work on the pilot for season 3 of “Ask Geneveve” for HGTV.
